Sooner Rather Than Later

Supporting the Onset of Labor

There are natural food options to hep tone your uterus which can help prevent excessive bleeding at the birth. We recommend that all of our clients do these simple nutritional strategies to support your pregnancy and birth.

  • Take 2-3 Red Raspberry Tea Capsules 4x a day. You can pick them up on FullScript.

  • Eat 6 date-fruits per day. Published scientific research reveals that consuming dates can make labor easier and faster. Read more HERE.

  • Take Caulophyllum, Cimicifuga and Arnica. 1 per day, rotate through the 3 in 3 days and repeat on rotation.

  • Intimacy if it’s enjoyable - it may be beneficial

Birth Prep Supplements (Pick one - Optional)

There are “birth prep” supplements that include herbs that work as uterine tonics. If you are worried about going past your due date, or if you have any concerns and want to have the baby “sooner rather than later” you may want to pick ONE of the options below.

Labor Prepare. Mother’s Herbals. 1/2 tsp (per 150 lbs) 2-3 times daily during the last 5 weeks of pregnancy

Gentle Birth. Week 1: 1/4 tsp before breakfast & dinner; | Week 2 - Birth 1/4 tsp 3x a day before meals

Dr. Christopher Birth-Prep: 1-2 capsules per day for the last 6 weeks of pregnancy.

Relaxation Strategies

Stress hormones interfere with the production of birth hormones. Learning to relax, and practicing daily relaxation can help you navigate your “unfinished business” and explore your inner landscape. There are many options for apps. One of our favorite apps is free and has so many tracks to choose from: Insight Timer.
