Here are some fun facts about nutrition that you may not know:
You need 100 grams of protein a day.
Your blood is expanding by 50% so you have to re-populate the new blood with new red blood cells. It takes iron and B vitamins to make red blood cells.
Electrolytes are essential for mineralization. Add 1 packet of electrolytes to your water daily.
Copper helps cells mature
Vitamin A stimulates cell differentiation for both red and white blood cells
B12 and Folate are required for early red cell development
D3 helps white blood cells mature
Magnesium helps white blood cells develop
All pregnant women are slightly insulin resistant so focus on more protein and fewer carbohydrates
